health insurance is obligatory for travelers to Cuba.
Participation Conditions
1. BOOKING:
We recommend that you book as early as possible. Please use the online booking form. Fill it out completely. We kindly ask you to pay a deposit of 10% of the total amount.
Once we have received your application and payment we will send you a
confirmation of your booking, the invoice (if requested).
The welcome pack with extra information, vouchers and the address of your
accommodation will be sent after the outstanding balance has been paid in
full.
The invoice must be paid in full, 4 weeks before your departure.
2. PAYMENT:
• By cheque: make cheques payable to the address given on this page.
• By bank transfer: the relevant account number will be on the invoice. Please
send us a copy of the transfer order. You must pay all bank charges!
• By credit card: Along with the booking form please send your authorization
with all details (name of the credit card company, card N°, expiry date and
relevant signature).
If you choose this form of payment we charge 2% of the total amount for
expenses.
3. LACK OF SERVICE:
Objections regarding the services indicated in the contract are to be reported
so that a prompt solution can be found. Should the individual fail to report
such a shortfall and should SPRACHCAFFE get no opportunity to remedy this
problem, no reductions or refunds will be given.

4. CANCELLATION:
4.1 SPRACHCAFFE
SPRACHCAFFE has the right to cancel a tour if the minimum amount of
passengers stared in the programme cannot be reached.
a) Sprachcaffe is obliged to inform the passenger immediately if a certain tour
will not take place.
b) The cancellation has to be made at least 3 weeks before the departure
date.
c) All fees will be refunded immediately.
4.2 PASSENGER
Cancellation: you may cancel your booking at any time prior to the
commencement of your holiday.
However, you will be charged cancellation fees:
- cancellation up to 30 days before holiday commencement:
30% of total price
- cancellation between 22 and 29 days before commencement:
40% of total price
- cancellation between 15 and 21 days before commencement:
50% of total price
- cancellation between 7 and 14 days before commencement:
60% of total price
Thereafter 70% of the total fee is required. In case of a cancellation on the
day of the made reservation or no show the price cannot be refunded.
If you prefer, you can take out insurance against the cancellation fee, which is
2% of the total amount. This amount must be paid with the deposit.
The registration fee for the visa documents is not refundable under any
circumstances. In the unlikely event of our being forced to cancel, all fees will
be refunded.
6. INSURANCE:
Please note that from 01.05.2010 you will need international health insurance for entry into Cuba. Health insurance is not included in the package price. All travelers are responsible for ensuring that they can show that they possess the proper insurance when entering Cuba. Further information can be obtained from our staff.
Neither agent, operator or the schools will be held responsible in any way for
any accident, illness, loss of personal effects or change in personal circumstances
arising at any time prior to or during the course. We therefore strongly
recommend you to take our personal travel insurance.
7. INEFFECTIVENESS OF ONE OF THE TRAVEL CONDITIONS:
Should one of the above travel conditions become ineffective, or inadmissible, this has no effect on the state of any of the other conditions.
