Day 1: Arrival in Havana
You arrive at Havana internat. Airport José Marti. Optional transfer to the hotel. Accommodation at the Hotel Plaza.
Day 2: Havana
The day starts with breakfast and sightseeing in Havana. The excursion will take you through the historical centre of the city that has been recognised by UNESCO as part of the world’s cultural heritage. For a real feast for the senses, you should visit the famous restaurants La Bodeguita del Medio or La Floridita, where Hemingway used to sip at his Mojito or Daiquiri. After a visit to the Rum Museum of Havana Club, your lunch will be served to you in a typical local restaurant. You stay overnight at the Hotel Plaza.

Day 3: Cienfuegos
After breakfast you will set off in the direction of Cienfuegos, which is often referred to as the "Pearl of the South". On the way there you will visit Guamá. From there you will set off on a boat trip through Laguna del Tresoro (the Treasure Lake) that lies in a picturesque landscape with many water canals, mangrove forests and palms. You will also be able to visit a village reconstructed in Taíno-Indians' style and a crocodile farm. You can opt for lunch in a typical local restaurant. After this you can explore the city of Cienfuegos situated on the beautiful Cienfuegos bay. You can admire the neo-classical architecture of the city and visit Tetro Terry and Palacio del Valle. Then you will proceed to Hotel Jagua, where you will be accommodated overnight.

Day 4: Sierra de Escambray & Trinidad
After breakfast and check-out you will travel to Sierra de Escambray. At the health resort Topes de Collantes nature-lovers will be rewarded: Many rare rain forest plants and animals can be found there. We offer various trips on foot or on horseback, during which you can discover scenic landscapes with waterfalls and picturesque 'fincas'. Before you go on to Trinidad, you will be served a delicious lunch in a typical local restaurant. In Trinidad you will stay at the Hotel Las Cuevas (or similar) where you will be also having dinner.

Day 5: Trinidad
Today you can explore Trinidad on your own. It was built in the 18th century and just walking through its streets can feel as if time stands still there. Don’t forget to try the typical local drink Canchánchara. You will have breakfast and dinner at Hotel Las Cuevas (or similar).

Day 6: Varadero
After breakfast you will travel to Varadero. On the way you will visit the town Sancti Spíritus, the first settlement in the Caribbean. This small town is located between cattle fields and sugar cane plantations and has a fascinating colonial heritage. You will dine at one of the town’s charming restaurants. After lunch you will go on to Santa Clara. There you will be able to see an interesting site - the mausoleum, where Che’s mortal remains are kept. In the evening you will arrive at the beach paradise of Varadero, where you will check-in into your room in the all-inclusive Hotel Villa Tortuga.

Day 7: Departure
You can spend a relaxing day at the beach of Varadero before departure for your flight back home, or you alternatively continue with other holiday arrangements.
