Day 1: Arrival Havana
Arrivel in Havana. Transfer to Montehabana & overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Havana
In the morning your guide will pick you up from your hotel and introduce the Old Havana to you. After lunch served in a restaurant inside the city center, we will have some time to stroll around the city or rest back at the hotel. In the afternoon, the visitors can choose between the introductory Spanish Course or Salsa Classes (approx. 90 min long). Accommodation in Montehabana.
Day 3: Playas del Este - day at the beach!
Today we will have the oportunity to be a bit creative! We can either take some percussion lessons or take a pottery class in the morning. After lunch, we shall relax on the beach at playas del Este. In the evening we will attend the gun-shooting ceremony. Accommodation in Montehabana.
Day 4: Las Terrazas
After breakfast we will begin our journey towards the western part of Cuba. We will travel to Las Terrazas the first UNESCO sanctioned natural reserve in Cuba. We will take a walk through the community, stop for lunch, and in the afternoon we can either enjoy a swim in the river San Juan or rent a kayak or bote (rental fees not included in price). Overnight in the Hotel El Moka.
Day 5: Mil Cumbres - Rancho San Vicente
After breakfast we will continue our tour to Vinales. We will stop by the Cueva del Indio where we plan to take a short boat trip inside the cave. After lunch we will continue our journey on horse for another 1-2 hours. The children can alternatively take a walking tour “Wonders of the Vinales Valley”. In the late afternoon we shall arrive to our hotel Rancho San Vicente where we can relax in the hotel’s pool.
Day 6: Vinales
In the morning we will visit a wonderful private botanical garden in the center of Vinales. The afternoon
is free for having fun at the pool or optional activities. Accommodation in Rancho San Vicente.
Day 7: Sierra del Rosario
Today we travel to Guama where we stop by a crocodile farm. After lunch we join a boat trip on the Laguna del Tesoro. In the late afternoon we arrive at our hotel at Playa Giron/Playa Larga. Dinner.
Day 8: Laguna de Salinas
We will spend the whole morning snorkelling at the Caleta Buena. After a picnic lunch our guide will explore the nature with us. We will visit a wildlife refuge (Laguna de Salinas or Corral de Santo Tomas). Dinner in the hotel.
Day 9: Cinefuegos - Trinidad
We will continue the tour via Cienfuegos where we take a short city tour and a lunch break in Trinidad. In Trinidad we will be accommodated at the Finca Maria Dolores, where the dinner will be served.
Day 10: Trinidad
10: In the morning we take a City tour around Trinidad and after lunch visit the Valle de Ingenios, where we can observe the ruins of small 19 the century sugar mills. We will also climb up the Mirador de La Loma del Puerto which is 192 m high. Dinner and overnight Finca Maria Dolores.
Day 11: Playa Ancon
We spend the day at the Playa Ancon beach. Dinner and overnight at Finca Maria Dolores.
Day 12: Sierra de Escambray
Today we go to discover the Sierra de Escambray. We will take a walking tour through the forest while our guide will inform us better about the plants and animals that can be found along the way. Picnic lunch. We spend the night at Los Helechos..
Day 13: Santa Clara
Today we go to the Casa del Gallega where lunch will be served. We continue our tour to Santa Clara where we stay in the Hotel La Granjita. The dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 14: Salsa Course in Havana
We drive back to Havanna. Overnight and dinner in Hotel Montehabana.
Day 15: Departure from Havana
Transfer to Havana airport in time for your departure flight.
